wǒ de zhǔ nǐ yǐ jīng jiàn chá le 

我的主 祢已經鑒察了

You have searched me, Lord,

wǒ zuò xià wǒ qǐ lái nǐ dōu xiǎo dé 

我坐下 我起來 你都曉得

You know when I sit and when I rise

wǒ de zhǔ nǐ qǐchū yǐ rèn shí wǒ 

我的主 祢起初已認識我 

You perceive my thoughts from afar.

wǒ xíng lù wǒ tǎng wò nǐ dōu xì chá 

我行路 我躺臥 祢都細察 

You discern my going out and my lying down

wǒ shé tou shàng de nǐ méi yǒu yī jù huà bù zhī dào

我舌頭上的 祢沒有一句話不知道 

Before a word is on my tongue You, Lord, know it completely.

nǐ zài wǒ qián hòu huán rào wǒ àn shǒu zài wǒ shēn shang

祢在我前後 環繞我 按手在我身上 

You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

wǒ kě yǐ wǎng nǎ lǐ táo yě bù kě néng  duǒ bì nǐ de líng

我可以往哪裡逃 也不可能躲避祢的靈 

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

nǐ de zhì gāo shì wǒ yǒng yuǎn bù néng jí 

祢的至高是我永遠不能及 

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me

bù kě cè tòu de nǐ cóng yuǎn chù

不可測透的 祢從遠處 

You perceive my thoughts from afar.

 

zhī dào wǒ de yì niàn nǐ yě shēn zhī wǒ yī qiè suǒ xíng de

知道我的意念 祢也深知 我一切所行的

You are familiar with all my ways.
