sheng ah wo di xin qie mu ni
神 啊 我 的 心 切 慕 你，
As the deer panteth for the water,

ru lu qie mu xi shui
如 鹿 切 慕 溪 水。
So my soul longeth after Thee.

wei you ni shi wo xin suo ai
唯 有 你 是 我 心 所 愛
You alone are my heart’s desire,

wo ke mu lai jing bai ni
我 渴 慕 來 敬 拜 你。
And I long to worship Thee.

ni shi wo di li liang dun pai
你 是 我 的 力 量 盾 牌
You alone are my strength my shield,

wo ling dan dan xiang fu yu ni
我 靈 單 單 降 服 於 你
To You alone may my spirit yield.

唯 有 你 是 我 心 所 愛
You alone are my heart’s desire,

wo ke mu lai jing bai ni
我 渴 慕 來 敬 拜 你
And I long to worship Thee.
